General Weapon and Armor Overview and Faction Weapon Types

Weapons:

Beam Weapons: Beam weapons are melee weapons with a handle or shaft of sorts. They gather light and heat and channel it though a crystal that is sent though a narrow pathway that shapes into a weapon. One Beam weapon can be modified to become almost anything in its class, a blade for instances can start out as a katana and then later be modified to be a long sword or gladius. But only skilled quartermasters and weapon smiths can modify them to any success

Guns: Guns gather up sunlight and heat like Beam weapons but they are channeled into a chamber where they are compressed into a near solid and once charge can fire about one hundred rounds, one change takes about one hour the higher density the round the more of a charge it would take. Like a Sniper which has the highest Density round can get maybe ten shots off but one of those rounds can eat though most personal power shields.

Projectile: There are still old fashion Projectile gun and crossbow and arrows. But most of the person shield can block them so they are less then never used.

Armor:

Personal Power Shields: Power Shield like most of the days gear runs off sun light. They gather sun light and uses its heat to create a thin invisible shield around the owner. They range in strength very few have one that can block more then hundred or so normal rounds or two or less sniper rounds.

Giant Power Shield: Theses Giant power Shield are used to protect cities and bases and ships. Unlike person Shield they are visible and look like Giant domes of glass only ship or people that have shield on the same frequency can pass though it.

Combat Shields: The Combat shields are gloves that slide over you hand and create a shield that can block up to ten thousand rounds or blows with beam weapons, they are mostly used in beam weapon combat but can be use to block in coming fire but it is hard to make the bullets hit it.
